Gwangyang City Conducts Volunteer Disinfection in Gurye County Flood-Affected Areas with Contracted Disinfection Company

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Gwangyang City Health Center announced that it visited the flood-affected areas in Gurye-gun with 21 people from 8 local disinfection companies contracted for this year's disinfection services the day before and conducted volunteer disinfection activities.
The volunteer group from Gwangyang City's contracted disinfection companies hung banners on their vehicles saying "Cheer up, Gurye!," "Together, Gurye!" and carried out large-scale disinfection focusing on Gurye-eup (5-day market, Bongdong-ri, Bongseo-ri, Gyesan-ri, Sinwol-ri), Masan-myeon, Muncheok-myeon, Toji-myeon, and Gwangui-myeon using 18 pieces of equipment including vehicle-mounted ultra-fine particle sprayers, fogging disinfectors, and vehicle-mounted sprayers.
Park Ju-pil, head of the health center, said, "I hope this volunteer disinfection activity will be a small help to the residents of Gurye-gun affected by the heavy rain and the Gurye-gun officials working hard on flood recovery."
