'Shooting Legend' Jin Jong-oh Appointed as Playing Coach at Seoul City Hall

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] Shooting star Jin Jong-oh (Seoul City Hall) will contribute to the development of his juniors' skills as a playing coach within the team.
The Seoul Sports Council announced on the 10th, after discussions by the Sports Team Operations Committee, that shooting athlete Jin Jong-oh of Seoul City Hall will be appointed as a playing coach.
Playing coach Jin said, "I sincerely thank Seoul City Hall for appointing me as a playing coach under difficult circumstances," and added, "I will faithfully perform the role of a bridge between players and coaches so that the Seoul City Hall shooting team can leap to a higher level." He also pledged, "I will do my best as both a coach and a player to participate in the Tokyo Olympics."
Playing coach Jin was first selected as a national shooting representative in 2002 and won three consecutive Olympic gold medals from the 2008 Beijing Games to the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Games. Jin Jong-oh is the first athlete worldwide to achieve three consecutive Olympic golds in shooting.

The Seoul Sports Council stated, "Playing coach Jin holds a professional sports coach license and has extensive experience as a player, so we expect him to contribute to the development of the Seoul City Hall shooting team."
