Gwangju Urban Railway Corporation to Hold 'Stamp Tour' Event Starting on the 10th
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Gwangju Metropolitan Rapid Transit Corporation (President Yoon Jin-bo) announced on the 6th that it will hold the 'Gwangju Metropolitan Rapid Transit Stamp Tour' for children and other citizens from the 10th to the 14th.
This stamp tour aims to emphasize the importance of community spirit among local residents to overcome COVID-19 and will offer various experiential activities introducing social values to children, the future generation.
Especially this year, considering the COVID-19 situation, the event period and visiting courses will be significantly reduced compared to previous years, and thorough quarantine measures such as social distancing, mandatory use of masks, and hand sanitizers will be implemented.
Those wishing to participate must make a reservation in advance with the corporation's Culture and Public Relations Team at least two hours before participation to prevent COVID-19.
Among those who complete the programs at Yangdong Market Station's 'Social Economy Experience Center' and Kim Dae-jung Convention Center Station's 'Human Rights Theme Station,' 1,000 participants will receive a set of children's masks and hand sanitizers on a first-come, first-served basis.
At Yangdong Market Station's 'Social Economy Experience Center,' participants will directly engage in activities such as making robots using recycled wood and flying children's drones, while at Kim Dae-jung Convention Center Station's 'Human Rights Theme Station,' participants can take part in human rights experiences and write reflection messages.
