[Concall] SK Telecom "950 Billion KRW Revenue Reflected from TiBroad Merger"
[Asia Economy Reporter Seulgina Jo] SK Telecom announced that more than 95 billion KRW in sales were reflected in the merged entity's performance following the merger of its subsidiaries SK Broadband and T-Broad in April.
On the 6th, Ha Hyung-il, head of SK Telecom's corp2 center, stated during a conference call after the Q2 earnings announcement, "With the completion of the merger with T-Broad, two months of performance in Q2 were reflected in SK Broadband's results," adding, "From the second half of the year, full performance will be reflected, creating synergy."
Ha said, "It is expected to account for 10% of SK Broadband's sales and more than 20% of its operating profit."

Meanwhile, SK Telecom, the first among the three major domestic telecom companies to announce Q2 earnings, recorded consolidated financial statements showing Q2 sales of 4.6028 trillion KRW and operating profit of 359.5 billion KRW. This represents increases of 3.7% and 11.4% respectively compared to the same period last year, exceeding market expectations.
