Hoban to Invest in Developing Next-Generation Ventilation System

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Chun-hee] Hoban Construction and Plan H Ventures, an accelerator corporation of Hoban Construction, announced on the 6th that they signed a business agreement for joint development of next-generation ventilation systems with Aiol Korea, a company specializing in indoor air management solutions, at Hoban Park Building 2 in Seocho-gu, Seoul.
About 10 officials attended the signing ceremony, including Kim Dae-heon, Head of Planning Division at Hoban Construction, Baek Jae-hyun, CEO of Aiol Korea, and Won Han-kyung, CEO of Plan H.
According to the agreement, Hoban Construction and Plan H will jointly invest in technology development and commercialization going forward. Aiol Korea plans to introduce the next-generation ventilation system in phases, starting with common areas in Hoban Group business sites and Hoban Construction apartment complexes.
Aiol Korea is a specialized company with the technology to apply multifunctional next-generation ventilation systems equipped with materials and components that provide dehumidification, cooling, and sterilization functions to general ventilation devices for residential and commercial equipment. Through this, it is explained that dehumidification performance can be improved by 50% compared to existing systems, and power consumption can be reduced by more than 40%.
Kim Dae-heon, Head of Planning Division at Hoban Construction, said, "We will accelerate the development of next-generation ventilation systems suitable for zero-energy buildings together with Aiol Korea," adding, "We will also continuously strive to provide healthy living spaces by actively collaborating with startups that possess technological capabilities."
