Enhancing Understanding of Education and Festivals in Comprehensive Programs
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hong Jaehee] Gimje City, Jeonbuk, conducted comprehensive program training to enhance understanding of the Jipyeongseon Festival, which will unfold in the post-COVID-19 era.
On the 6th, Gimje City announced that it held training on the comprehensive program of the 22nd Gimje Jipyeongseon Festival for employees of departments, divisions, and townships.
This training aimed to increase understanding and participation in the festival, which is being promoted in a new and unfamiliar daily life due to COVID-19, and to ensure smooth event preparation and progress, unlike previous years.
During the training, the festival was introduced as the Gimje Jipyeongseon Festival, a Korea Honorary Representative Cultural Tourism Festival different from the existing global fostering festivals due to the abolition of the festival grading system.
It also covered COVID-19 response group event quarantine management guidelines through decentralization, social distancing, and healing, strengthened internal quarantine standards, regional economic revitalization and increased regional brand value through expanding profits for local farms via CU, and content such as reducing experience programs and expanding landscape programs.
Mayor Park Junbae said, “Through the 22nd Gimje Jipyeongseon Festival, we will overcome the economic difficulties caused by COVID-19 and become a new festival model as a safe festival in the post-COVID-19 era by complying with quarantine guidelines and thoroughly strengthening internal quarantine.”
