Jindo Dog Theme Park Limits Weekend Performance Admission Visitors
Social Distancing... Entry Limited to Within 300 Tourists
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Hyun] Jindo County is limiting the number of visitors to the Jindo Dog Theme Park performances, where visitors can experience the excellence of the Jindo dog, Natural Monument No. 53, to within 300 people.
According to Jindo County on the 6th, the Jindo Dog Theme Park performances (weekdays and weekends), which had been suspended due to COVID-19, have resumed since the 1st following the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters' decision to ease restrictions on public facility operations.
As the vacation season begins, regular disinfection and other quarantine measures are being implemented at two facilities, including the Jindo Dog Theme Park weekday and weekend performance venues, which are among the must-visit courses for tourists visiting the treasure island of Jindo.
In particular, to enforce social distancing, the number of visitors admitted to the weekend performance venue, which has 600 seats, is limited to 300 by installing and operating barrier poles.
Additionally, public officials are stationed at the entrance of the performance venue to block entry of tourists not wearing masks and to guide seating arrangements to maintain social distancing.
Although the number of COVID-19 confirmed cases is decreasing in the Jeonnam region, Jindo County plans to strengthen safety measures for tourists visiting the treasure island by reinforcing quarantine rules, as regional infections continue in the metropolitan area and other regions.

A Jindo County official from the Jindo Dog Livestock Division stated, “We will operate the facilities and performances at the Jindo Dog Theme Park while strictly adhering to quarantine and usage rules to ensure that tourists do not experience any inconvenience.”
