The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) announced that strong rain accompanied by gusts, thunder, and lightning will pour at a rate of 30 to 50 mm per hour in most parts of the country.
During the night, rain will temporarily ease in northern Seoul, Gyeonggi, and central-northern Gangwon, but on the 7th, the entire country will again fall under the influence of the monsoon front, with some areas experiencing rainfall exceeding 50 mm per hour.
By the 7th, expected precipitation amounts are 100 to 200 mm in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Gangwon Yeongseo, and Chungcheong (with some places in the metropolitan area and Yeongseo exceeding 400 mm), 50 to 100 mm in the southern regions and Gangwon Yeongdong (with some places exceeding 150 mm), and 30 to 80 mm in Jeju Island, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo.
Fine dust levels are forecasted to be between 'Good' and 'Moderate' across all regions.
Morning low temperatures by region are forecasted as follows: △Seoul 24°C △Chuncheon 24°C △Gangneung 26°C △Daejeon 25°C △Daegu 26°C △Busan 25°C △Jeonju 26°C △Gwangju 25°C △Jeju 27°C.
Daytime high temperatures are expected to be: △Seoul 27°C △Chuncheon 27°C △Gangneung 30°C △Daejeon 26°C △Daegu 29°C △Busan 28°C △Jeonju 28°C △Gwangju 28°C △Jeju 32°C.

The KMA stated, "In the central region, where very heavy rain has already fallen, flooding of rivers and reservoirs, landslides, retaining wall collapses, and flooding of farmland, low-lying areas, and underground passages are occurring. Very heavy rain is expected mainly in the central region until daytime, so please take special care to avoid damage."
