Dongshin University Recruiting Trainees for 'New Normal MICE Academy'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation of Dongshin University (Director Professor Ko Younghyuk of the Department of Information and Communication Engineering) announced on the 5th that it will operate the 'New Normal MICE Academy' at the Kim Daejung Convention Center in Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City from the 18th to the 31st.
This training, commissioned by the Jeonnam Tourism Foundation, will be conducted over a total of 13 sessions to nurture online and offline exhibition and convention planners in the era of the 'New Normal.'
Professors from six universities in Gwangju and Jeonnam, including Dongshin University, and field experts from Seoul and the metropolitan area will participate as instructors to educate on understanding the MICE industry, practical skills for attracting and operating various events, and trends in online exhibitions and conventions.
After completing the training, trainees will directly plan and operate small-scale conventions in September.
Outstanding trainees can gain internship experience at convention centers or PCO (Professional Conference Organizer) companies, which may lead to actual employment.
