[Breaking] Full Traffic Control on Seoul Dongbu Expressway... Emergency on Morning Commute
[Asia Economy Reporter Han Seung-gon] Seoul's Dongbu Expressway has been completely closed to traffic since around 5 a.m. on the 3rd, the Seoul Metropolitan Government announced.
This is due to the rise in water levels of the Jungnangcheon Stream caused by heavy rainfall upstream in the northern Gyeonggi region. The water level at Wolgye 1-gyo Bridge has risen to a flood warning level, and access is being restricted.

Additionally, Seoul city stated that the Jamsu Bridge has also been fully closed since the afternoon of the previous day due to the rising water level of the Han River, and access to Bulgwacheon Jeungsan Bridge has been prohibited since around 5:20 a.m.
