Mirae Asset Daewoo is promoting 'Digital Transformation' with the goal of increasing customer convenience and improving employee work efficiency through company-wide digital transformation in line with the social trend centered on non-face-to-face interactions triggered by the 4th Industrial Revolution and the impact of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
So far, Mirae Asset Daewoo has regarded digitalization as one of the four major innovation tasks and has continuously strived to create new value and enhance convenience for customers through digital innovation.
The digital transformation (hereinafter DT) vision slogan, selected through employee submissions, is ‘Digital Thinking for Customers, Innovating Investment,’ reflecting the commitment to promote innovation through a customer-centric digital mindset shift.
To realize this, five major tasks were selected: ▲ Establishment of a hyper-personalized financial platform system (New Platform), ▲ New customer experience through digital means (New Contact), ▲ Expansion of lifestyle finance business (New Business), ▲ Establishment of a digital-based decision-making system (New Biz Intelligence), and ▲ Process innovation for efficiency improvement (New Process).
Mirae Asset Daewoo launched the Digital Innovation Committee (hereinafter Digital Innovation Committee), composed of Senior Vice Chairman Choi Hyun-man and representatives of seven divisions, and completed the formation of dedicated organizations by newly establishing the DT Promotion Team and Process Innovation Promotion Team to execute digital transformation.
Additionally, activities to strengthen employees' digital capabilities will be promoted. Each division will select ‘Digital Leaders’ to spread digital culture and discover DT ideas. Furthermore, a ‘Digital Talent Model’ will be established to support employees in acquiring digital skills, and a ‘Junior Board’ composed of young employees in their 20s and 30s will be formed to provide opportunities to freely enhance digital capabilities.
