Gyeongnam, 30s Korean National Staying in Iraq Confirmed with 'COVID-19'

The province announced that a woman in her 30s residing in Gimhae City tested positive for COVID-19 on the afternoon of the 21st.
The woman had visited Iraq for business in December last year and stayed there before entering Incheon Airport on the 14th.
She showed no symptoms at the time of entry and was not tested during the quarantine process.
Afterward, she took a train designated for overseas arrivals to Changwon Jungang Station and then moved to her home by family car.
On the following day, the 15th, she underwent a COVID-19 test at the Gimhae City Public Health Center, which came back negative.
However, during self-quarantine, she developed a sore throat and was tested again, resulting in a positive diagnosis, and was admitted to Masan Medical Center.
The province reported that she had contact with two family members, including her spouse and child, but their test results were negative.
With this, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in the province has risen to 152.
Among them, 138 have fully recovered and been discharged, and 14 are currently receiving inpatient treatment.
