Espolitech Resumes U.S. Exports of Flame-Retardant PC for Aircraft Use
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Spolitech announced on the 21st that it has resumed exports of flame-retardant PC for aircraft.
According to the company, the shipment scheduled for the end of July will be supplied to American aircraft companies such as ATG, a specialized manufacturer of private civil aircraft parts, through Professional Plastics (PP), a U.S. plastic distribution specialist.
Flame-retardant PC is a product used in aircraft interior windows and cleanroom partitions, featuring excellent flame retardancy, superior heat resistance, and impact resistance, as well as being a high value-added product.

A Spolitech official stated, “Due to the downturn in the aircraft business, exports of flame-retardant PC were somewhat sluggish in the first half of the year, but signs of recovery have appeared since the second half, raising expectations for additional orders,” adding, “We will continue the company’s growth through various products such as Bi-Shield, flame-retardant PC, light guide plates, and various sheets.”
