"Watch Trot Without Ads" KT Skylife Launches No-Contract Monthly Subscription Plan
[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Chae-eun] KT Skylife has launched the subscription-free monthly service "Trot Choice" on the 21st, allowing viewers to watch trot programs 24 hours a day without advertisements, in line with the "trot" craze.
"Trot Choice" is a service provided on Movie Choice channel 300, offering unlimited viewing of trot content such as TV Chosun's "Tomorrow's Miss Trot" and "Tomorrow's Mister Trot," which produced popular trot stars and attracted attention, as well as trot variety shows like "Bongsunga Academy," "Let's Go Pick Bongsu," and "I Will Sing Your Requested Song - Love Call Center."
Additionally, Skylife exclusively broadcasts for the first time special videos including unaired and edited versions from the preliminaries to the finals of the top three contestants (Jin: Lim Young-woong, Seon: Young Tak, Mi: Lee Chan-won) of "Tomorrow's Mister Trot." This channel features no advertisements before, during, or after programs, allowing continuous viewing of content. It minimizes the inconvenience for consumers who were previously disturbed by ads interrupting their immersion in the content.
"Trot Choice" can be watched 24 hours a day on Skylife channel 300 for 5,500 KRW per month, about the price of a cup of coffee, and subscriptions are available via remote control, ARS ordering, the website, and customer service center. To commemorate the launch of the "Trot" channel, Skylife offers one month of free viewing to all new subscribers until August 20.
