Korea Press Foundation and Korea University of Technology and Education Sign MOU for Big Data Talent Development
The Korea Press Foundation (Chairman Min Byung-wook) and Korea University of Technology and Education (President Lee Sung-ki) signed a memorandum of understanding on the afternoon of the 17th at the Press Center to support the cultivation of big data talent using BigKinds.
Through this agreement, Korea University of Technology and Education will be able to actively utilize the Foundation's news big data analysis service, BigKinds, in its educational programs for AI and big data talent development.
Im Young-seop, Director of Newspaper Distribution at the Korea Press Foundation, stated, "It is significant to use BigKinds for nurturing data talent, and it can also contribute to the government's Digital New Deal." Oh Chang-heon, Dean of Academic Affairs at Korea University of Technology and Education, expressed expectations for the educational use of BigKinds, saying, "We can now use refined and live data in lectures through BigKinds."
The agreement includes ▲support for opening and operating lectures using BigKinds ▲collecting satisfaction and improvement feedback from students using BigKinds ▲and consultations for mutual development of both institutions.
Taking this agreement as an opportunity, the Korea Press Foundation plans to actively support the cultivation of digital talent, which will serve as a driving force in the Digital New Deal sector of the Korean New Deal comprehensive plan announced by the government.
