On the 10th, according to the county, the Imsil-gun Cooperative Joint Business Corporation APC held the ‘2020 First Half Business Performance Report and Integrated Marketing Council for Business Plan Changes,’ achieving a shipment volume of 2,574 tons and sales of 4.7 billion KRW, securing an incentive of 50 million KRW.
Accordingly, the council approved changes to the business plan for three support projects, including an increase of 50 million KRW in the budget for producer organization and integrated marketing activation, and detailed changes to collective education and promotional events for the production area integrated marketing project.
The county integrated marketing council is chaired by Vice Governor Jo Ho-il and consists of 16 members, including seven public shipment farmer groups (peach, strawberry, tomato, chili pepper, onion, potato, cucumber), five agricultural-related organizations (NongHyup Central Association Imsil Branch, Imsil NongHyup, Osu Gwanchon NongHyup, Imsil-gun Cooperative Joint Business Corporation, Imsil Chili & Agricultural Products Processing and Sales Co., Ltd.), and administrative agencies (Imsil County Office, Quality Control Institute).
Established in 2012 as a joint investment by Osu Gwanchon NongHyup and Imsil NongHyup, the APC is a core facility for integrated marketing in Imsil-gun, equipped with sorting centers, shipping and receiving centers, and cold storage.
Starting with sales of 10.4 billion KRW in 2012, the APC has shown an annual growth rate of over 10%, recording 17 billion KRW in sales (9,000 tons shipped) last year, and is on the verge of reaching 20 billion KRW in sales.
Additionally, the APC received a B grade and a 50 million KRW incentive in the distribution center evaluation conducted by Jeollabuk-do this year, and achieved an A grade in the national horticultural industry performance evaluation, demonstrating success in external assessments as well.
