[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 9th that five U.S. military personnel belonging to U.S. bases stationed in the area who recently entered the country tested positive for COVID-19.
Four male U.S. soldiers in their 20s (Pyeongtaek Nos. 79, 80, 81, 82) were tested and quarantined after entering through Osan Air Base (K-55) on the 7th, and were confirmed positive on the same day.
A male U.S. soldier in his 30s (Pyeongtaek No. 83) entered through Incheon Airport on the 7th, was tested at the unit, and confirmed positive.
