Ulsan Ulju-gun, Recruiting Participants for the 'Senior Social Contribution Activity Support Project'
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Ulsan Ulju-gun is recruiting participants and participating organizations for the ‘2020 Ulju-gun New Middle-aged Social Contribution Activity Support Project.’
The ‘Social Contribution Activity Support Project’ refers to volunteer-type activities that utilize expertise and experience to participate in nonprofit areas as public service for self-satisfaction and a sense of achievement, characterized as talent donation activities.
The project is planned to run until November 30, and applications will be accepted until the recruitment quota is filled.
Application requirements are retirees and unemployed persons aged 50 to 70 (born 1970 to 1950) residing in Ulsan City. After completing basic education, participants will engage in various professional fields such as social services, marketing and promotion, culture and arts, IT and informatization, counseling and mentoring. Participants will receive a participation allowance of 2,000 KRW per hour, and if they work more than 4 hours, an activity expense of 9,000 KRW (6,000 KRW for meals, 3,000 KRW for transportation) will be paid; if less than 4 hours, an activity expense of 3,000 KRW (transportation only) will be provided.
Participating organizations must be (preliminary) social enterprises, social cooperatives, nonprofit corporations or organizations, or public institutions within Ulju-gun.
