[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] Citibank Korea and the Citi Foundation have stepped up to sponsor a forum to support young job seekers.
Citibank announced on the 6th that it sponsored the '2020 Impact Career Forum: Deviating from the Path and Searching Again,' held on the 4th at Heyground in Seongdong-gu, Seoul.
As part of the 'Impact Career Y' agreement signed in January between Citibank and the nonprofit Root Impact, this forum was conducted targeting young job seekers.
The forum focused on social impact careers that create positive influence through activities pursuing social value. Panelists included current and former social sector professionals, corporate social responsibility officers from large companies, and pro bono experts from various organizations. Additionally, entrepreneurs and experts working in diverse fields such as marketing, planning, design, and management participated as speakers, sharing their know-how and providing young people interested in solving social issues with opportunities to concretely envision their careers.
