'Sallimnam' Kim Il-woo "Practicing 'One Month Living' for 5 Years, This Year to Jeju Island with My Pet Dog"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jeong-ho] Actor Kim Il-woo is drawing attention by embarking on a one-month stay in Jeju with his pet dog.
On the afternoon of the 4th, KBS 2TV's 'Men Who Do Housework' (hereafter 'Sallimnam') aired footage of Kim Il-woo heading to Jeju for his 'one-month stay.'
Watching Kim Il-woo busily packing, the couple Paeng Hyun-sook and Choi Yang-rak wondered, "Are you going camping again?"
Kim Il-woo said, "I have been in broadcasting for over 30 years, and on a day when I felt exhausted, I looked back and realized that ultimately, I am the most important," adding, "To reorganize my life, I have been doing a one-month stay for five years."
Preparing for the 'one-month stay,' Kim Il-woo first gathered daily necessities.
He packed a full load, from various daily essentials to a pet stroller. The production team was all surprised, and Kim Il-woo said, "Actually, I reduced my luggage a lot," adding, "I only packed what was necessary." Seeing this, Choi Yang-rak sympathized, saying, "Well, last time when we went camping for one night and two days, we packed a bundle of luggage, so for a one-month stay, it would be about that much."
Additionally, Kim Il-woo said, "If no one cleans for a month, the house will become a haunted house, so I am cleaning before I go," and added, "I don't think I would feel good seeing the house in a mess after I return."
Later, seeing Kim Il-woo make fried rice with leftover food from the refrigerator, Paeng Hyun-sook smiled, saying, "That's my style."
Kim Il-woo chose to travel to Jeju by ferry for his pet dog 'Mari,' surprising the couple Paeng Hyun-sook once again.
