View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongwook Park] No additional confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) originating from a Daegu acting academy have been identified.
According to Daegu City on the 4th, health authorities set up screening clinics at three schools attended by students, including Kyungmyeong Girls' High School where confirmed cases were reported the previous day, and conducted tests on 1,325 individuals, all of whom tested negative.
Regarding the confirmed case of a female high school student attending the acting academy in Daegu, the city issued an administrative order recommending operational restrictions from the 4th to the 17th on performance-related academies such as acting and theater, speech and oratory, dance, practical music, dance, traditional Korean music, and modeling, in accordance with the Infectious Disease Control and Prevention Act.
The cumulative number of confirmed cases in Daegu remains at 6,924 as of 7 a.m. on the 4th. The number of recovered patients is 6,800 (96.9%), and deaths total 185 (according to Daegu City's own standards).
