Saltlux "Leading the Market with 3rd Generation AI Chatbot 'Tokbot'"
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] On the 3rd, Saltlux announced that it is setting a new standard through ‘TalkBot,’ a 3rd generation AI chatbot capable of deep knowledge-based conversations, based on Saltlux’s artificial intelligence technology.
Unlike existing chatbots that can only answer predetermined questions, Saltlux TalkBot (hereafter TalkBot) builds a knowledge base containing various knowledge necessary for conversations and provides accurate answers according to the intent based on this. The accuracy improves as more knowledge accumulates. In fact, NH Nonghyup Bank’s call center raised the correct answer rate for inquiries from around 80% to 93.1% through continuous quality improvement. This was certified by the Korea Information and Communication Technology Association (TTA).
TalkBot is the only one in Korea to offer the ‘Group Bot’ function. A group bot is a feature that allows individually developed chatbots to be grouped and used as one. Customer inquiries entering the main chatbot can be accurately connected to the appropriate individual chatbot according to the content for service. It prevents redundant chatbot development and provides easy accessibility to users by integrating or reusing already developed chatbots. According to the company, this is one of the reasons Saltlux is gaining attention in the government-wide civil complaint consultation 365 chatbot common platform construction project promoted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
Such TalkBot has established itself as a communication channel with customers in various fields without discrimination, including financial consultations in the primary financial sector such as Woori Bank and NH Nonghyup Bank, non-face-to-face chatbot consultations at the Korea Inclusive Finance Agency, tourism information guidance in Daejeon City, recruitment consultations at Korea Electric Power Corporation, electronic bidding consultations at KEPCO KDN, public sector civil complaint consultations, and various internal administrative support services of private companies.
A Saltlux official said, “TalkBot is a chatbot service that only Saltlux can provide, possessing Asia’s largest knowledge base of 15 billion cases, a corpus of 1 million languages, and over 20,000 hours of voice data,” adding, “Rather than small-scale single chatbot construction with fierce low-price competition, we are focusing on high-difficulty, high value-added platform construction projects for customer groups with complex tasks that require handling multiple tasks with multiple chatbots, such as in the financial sector.”
