KT's OTT 'Season' Awarded 1st Place in Korea Industrial Brand Recommendation
[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Chae-eun] KT's mobile video service ‘Seezn’ has been awarded the new No. 1 position in the Korean Industry Brand Recommendation OTT Service category in 2020.
Launched on November 28, 2019, KT's mobile video service Seezn boasts ultra-high-definition and ultra-high-quality sound suitable for the 5G era, providing a viewing environment that is on a different level from other mobile video services. Utilizing KT's big data and AI (artificial intelligence) technology, it recommends content tailored to the user's situation or mood and is designed as a user-centered OTT service that allows users to enjoy videos and music within a single app.
Seezn offers over 240,000 VOD titles, including about 210 live broadcasts, TV replays, movies, and original content exclusive to Seezn. Additionally, approximately 190 live channels and 50,000 VOD titles can be accessed easily by anyone who logs in without subscribing to any paid products.
To celebrate this No. 1 award, Seezn plans to offer various events and content benefits to reward its customers. From the 3rd, customers who leave congratulatory comments on Seezn's official Instagram posts will be entered into a draw to win prizes such as Starbucks gift cards and TV coupons. Furthermore, from the 13th to the 31st, 1,111 participants in the event on the Seezn app will receive generous gifts including TV points, AirPods, and Baskin-Robbins ice cream.
