View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ga-yeon] On Tuesday the 30th, the rain that started on the previous day (29th) will expand nationwide. Strong rain accompanied by gusts, thunder, and lightning will fall mainly in the central region, excluding Gangwon Yeongdong.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the expected rainfall from the previous day until 3 p.m. on this day is 100-200mm in Gangwon Yeongdong, northeastern mountainous areas of North Gyeongsang, and the eastern coast of North Gyeongsang; 50-100mm in the central region (excluding Gangwon Yeongdong), northern inland North Gyeongsang, coastal areas of South Gyeongsang, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo; and 20-80mm in southern North Gyeongsang, Jeonbuk, Jeonnam, inland South Gyeongsang, Jeju Island, and the five western islands.
The Korea Meteorological Administration explained, "Very heavy rain exceeding 80mm per hour and very large amounts of rain exceeding 300mm will fall in Gangwon Yeongdong and the eastern coast of North Gyeongsang, which are affected by easterly winds."
The morning low temperatures are expected to be △Seoul 19°C △Daejeon 21°C △Daegu 22°C △Busan 21°C △Jeonju 21°C △Gwangju 21°C △Chuncheon 20°C △Gangneung 19°C △Jeju 22°C △Ulleungdo and Dokdo 18°C.
The daytime high temperatures are forecasted to be △Seoul 23°C △Daejeon 23°C △Daegu 26°C △Busan 26°C △Jeonju 22°C △Gwangju 23°C △Chuncheon 24°C △Gangneung 22°C △Jeju 25°C △Ulleungdo and Dokdo 22°C.
