[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] On the 29th, the Emergency Response Committee of the United Future Party resolved at the Emergency Response Committee meeting to appoint former United Future Party lawmaker Ji Sang-wook as the head of the Yeouido Institute.
Born in 1965, the newly appointed Director Ji is considered part of the Yoo Seung-min faction within the United Future Party. He holds a Ph.D. in Architecture from the Graduate School of Engineering at the University of Tokyo, Japan, and has served as a visiting researcher at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University, USA.
