Com2uS Acquires Korea's No.1 Online Baduk Service 'Taijem'
Acquisition of 86.01% Stake and Management Rights of Dongyang Online
[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-gyu Lee] Com2uS announced on the 29th that it has signed a contract to acquire 86.01% of the shares and management rights of Dongyang Online, which operates 'Taijem,' the No. 1 online Baduk service in Korea.
Taijem, which started its service in 2001, is the top Baduk service in Korea where world-class professional players such as Shin Jin-seo, Park Jeong-hwan, and Ke Jie participate under their real names and their matches are provided. It has received favorable reviews from users for its high-quality services such as AI-based matches, position analysis, and game record analysis.
Com2uS plans to integrate new technologies such as AI into Taijem and strengthen the mobile sector to advance the Baduk service. Additionally, it plans to develop Baduk tournaments and broadcasting services based on Com2uS's global e-sports expertise.
