A cluster infection of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) occurred at Wangseong Church in Gwanak-gu, Seoul.

[Asia Economy Reporter Seongpil Cho] Seoul Gwanak-gu announced that as of 12 PM on the 27th, a total of 21 infections related to the cluster outbreak at Wangseong Church, caused by the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), have been confirmed.
On this day, 5 additional confirmed cases in Gwanak-gu (Gwanak 107 to 111) were all church members.
Among them, the 111th confirmed case is a part-time instructor at Nanu Elementary School. She is a 26-year-old woman residing in Boramae-dong and visited Wangseong Church on the 21st and 23rd.
The district office stated, "An epidemiological investigation is currently underway, and we will consult with the school and the education office as soon as possible regarding measures such as students' school attendance and provide guidance."
Cases 107 (36-year-old male, Daehak-dong), 108 (23-year-old female, Seowon-dong), and 110 (29-year-old female, Cheongnyong-dong) attended the Sunday service on the 21st. Case 109 (33-year-old female, Seorim-dong) is under investigation for the infection route.
The detailed movement paths of the confirmed cases have not yet been disclosed.
The cluster outbreak at Wangseong Church has put Gwanak-gu on high alert. When a 31-year-old female church member (Gwanak 90) was first confirmed positive on the 24th, the district set up a mobile screening clinic in the church parking lot and conducted emergency testing for all church members.
