According to Beopse-ryeon, Minister Choo stated on the 18th of this month during her appearance before the National Assembly's Legislation and Judiciary Committee, in response to lawmakers' questions, that "It is known that former Channel A reporter Lee (35) threatened Lee Cheol, former CEO of Value Invest Korea (VIK) (55, currently incarcerated), and his family while investigating the ShillaJen allegations."
Beopse-ryeon claims this act constitutes the disclosure of specific facts of an investigation obtained in the course of performing her duties supervising and directing the Prosecutor General, before the indictment was filed.
