This visiting island mobile comprehensive civil service, in cooperation with Wando County, offered various services including visiting beauty services, COVID-19 quarantine activities, customized magnifier services, underwater cleanup activities, lectures on the use and inspection of V-PASS equipment, inspection of ship communication equipment and outboard motors, and legal consultation services.
In particular, through marine legal consultations and V-PASS repairs, the service alleviated residents' inconveniences, directly listened to civil complaints and grievances, and held a meaningful on-site communication session focused on resolving issues for the public.
Kim Seo-yong, head of the Bigyeondo fishing village cooperative, said, “Because of the island area's characteristics, Bigyeondo residents find it difficult to frequently go to the mainland, so there are many hardships, but we are grateful that the maritime police came to help us first like this.”
