[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Nosik] Namwon City, Jeonbuk Province announced that it will accept applications for candidates for the ‘26th Namwon Citizen’s Award,’ which honors those who have elevated the honor and pride of the hometown and devoted themselves to community development with exceptional patriotism, from the 22nd until July 31st.
According to Namwon City, starting this year, the ‘Namwon Citizen’s Award’ will be presented in four categories: the Hyo-yeol Volunteer Award, which integrates the Public Service Award and the Filial Piety Award, as well as the Culture and Sports Award, the Industry and Labor Award, and the Patriotism Award.
Candidates recommended by heads of related organizations, school principals, heads of social organizations, and heads of city offices and townships will undergo strict on-site investigations and fair deliberations by a judging committee for each category to determine the winners. The awards ceremony will be held at the Citizen’s Day commemorative event scheduled for October.
