169 Households of Station-Area Youth Housing to Be Built in Front of Yeonsinnae Station

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Yuri] A transit-oriented youth housing complex with 169 households will be built near Yeonsinnae Station on Seoul Subway Line 6.
On the 18th, the Seoul Metropolitan Government held the 6th Urban and Architectural Joint Committee Transit-Oriented Youth Housing Subcommittee and announced on the 19th that it had approved with modifications the urban management plan (Yeonsinnae district unit plan) decision (amendment) for the transit-oriented youth housing project in 456-25 Galhyeon-dong, Eunpyeong-gu.
As the transit-oriented youth housing project was approved with modifications following the subcommittee review, once the district unit plan is officially decided and announced, the youth housing project will be possible at the site. The Galhyeon-dong transit-oriented youth housing will be constructed on a site area of 666.1㎡, with a total of 169 households. The relevant district office will proceed with the building permit procedures going forward.

The transit-oriented youth housing targets young people aged 19 to 39. The Seoul Metropolitan Government stated, "Not only will affordable rental housing be supplied compared to the surrounding area, but various youth-related community facilities are also planned, which will contribute to revitalizing the youth in this area."
