COVID-19 Confirmed in Employee at Lotte Confectionery Logistics Center in Uiwang, Gyeonggi
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] A confirmed case of COVID-19 has been reported at the Lotte Confectionery Uiwang Logistics Center located in Gocheon-dong, Uiwang-si, Gyeonggi Province.
On the 17th, Anyang City, Gyeonggi Province, announced that a 66-year-old male, Mr. A (Anyang No. 53 confirmed case), residing in Supssokbandichae Apartments, Domagyo-dong, Gunpo-si, tested positive for COVID-19. The city health authorities explained that Mr. A was confirmed to be an employee at the Lotte Confectionery Uiwang Logistics Center.
Mr. A developed a fever on the 16th and was tested at the screening clinic of Anyang Saem Hospital, where he was confirmed positive around 6 p.m. that day.
