CJ Olive Young Launches Live Commerce Platform 'Allive' in Full Swing
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] CJ Olive Young is launching 'live commerce' in earnest to target the 2030 generation.
CJ Olive Young announced that from 7 p.m. on the 15th, it will operate the real-time broadcast shopping service 'Allive' through its official mobile app (APP).
'Allive' is the industry's first beauty-specialized mobile live broadcast introduced by CJ Olive Young. It can be viewed through the Olive Young official mobile app, not a separate channel. Based on the success of the pilot broadcast conducted at the end of last year, it has been regularly scheduled since April.
The broadcasts are held 2 to 3 times a month and last about an hour. Each episode collaborates with major tenant brands to select and introduce planned products or hit items showcasing beauty trends that can only be found on 'Allive.' Special benefits such as discounts and giveaways are also provided to customers who purchase during the broadcast.
'Allive' has also introduced a real-time chat function for two-way communication. It encourages customer participation by sharing more vivid product information, usage methods, and reviews. Beauty YouTubers and other influencers appear as hosts or product demonstration models, adding fresh entertainment.
In fact, during the 'I'm From' brand episode held on the 25th of last month, beauty expert 'Yoo Hwa-i' appeared, and it was reported that about 10,000 customers watched the live broadcast. The 'I'm From Pig Scrub Mask' and 'I'm From Mugwort Mask' introduced that day sold out the prepared quantities.
Notably, unlike other broadcasts, it is characterized by strengthening synergy between online and offline by linking with nationwide stores. During the broadcast time, stores hold a 'time special price' event selling the same products at a discount. CJ Olive Young is focusing on securing 'omnichannel' competitiveness beyond mobile-based 'live commerce.'
The 'Allive' broadcast on this day features the global nail brand 'Dashing Diva,' introducing a variety of self-nail products that are especially in demand during the summer season. Members Jang Jun and Ji Beom of the group Golden Child appear to communicate with customers. Planned sets such as 'Magic Press Premium Design 3 types,' 'Magic Press Regular Design 3 types,' and 'Gloss My Color Design 4 types' can be purchased at reasonable prices.
