AK Plaza Recruiting 2nd Generation 'Showporters' for V-Commerce Live Broadcast Show Hosts
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] AK Plaza announced on the 15th that it will recruit 'V-Commerce Live Broadcast Supporters' and 'Environmental Protection Supporters' to communicate with all generations.
The 'Showporters,' who will mainly work on AK Plaza's V-Commerce live broadcasts, are a type of media commerce supporters where aspiring show hosts directly organize and experience the broadcasts.
Anyone with strengths in product understanding, broadcast hosting skills, and communication with consumers can apply. Selected Showporters will write broadcast scripts themselves and conduct actual sales broadcasts 2 to 8 times a week. They can also participate in planning broadcast content every week. They can develop their broadcasting skills while being exposed to various brand products in the department store.
Additional benefits include a fixed broadcasting activity fee, monthly awards for outstanding performers, a grand prize and certificate upon completion of activities. The number of recruits is 8 to 10, and applications are accepted until the 21st. After an audition, the final selected members will be active from July 1 to December 31.
In particular, the second generation of Showporters will be operated so that each person can be in charge of the category they are most confident in for broadcasting. They also plan to select broadcasters with experience in childcare and housekeeping to handle living and infant/child brands, enabling broadcasts that reach a wider range of generations.
Meanwhile, as part of the eco-friendly campaign 'Return to Green,' the second generation of Return to Green University Supporters will be recruited to experience environmental protection activities along with department store brand marketing. This is an in-house eco-friendly campaign by AK Plaza focusing on large and small environmental protection activities that can be practiced in department stores.
The total number of university supporters to be recruited this time is 15. University students (enrolled or on leave) interested in eco-friendliness or distribution marketing and capable of social network service (SNS) activities can apply. Supporters will plan and operate eco-friendly campaigns regularly conducted by AK Plaza. They will also carry out various participation missions such as environmental protection and distribution events and promotions. They will have opportunities to receive mentoring from current distribution and marketing professionals and acquire various practical experiences and know-how in the distribution industry.

The recruitment period is until the 30th, and the announcement of successful candidates is scheduled for July 10. The supporters' activities will last for four months from July 31, and upon completion, all will receive certificates, with the best performer awarded a scholarship of 1,000,000 KRW.
