Suncheon-si, Disabled Comprehensive Welfare Center and Others Reopen on June 15
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Suncheon City announced that it will resume operations of the Comprehensive Welfare Center for the Disabled and three daytime care facilities, which had been closed to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the community, starting June 15.
First, since the reopening is taking place while COVID-19 has not yet ended, Suncheon City plans to operate strictly in accordance with quarantine guidelines, focusing on hygiene management led by the previously designated quarantine managers. Wearing masks and maintaining a one-meter distance within the facilities are mandatory, and temperature checks and hand sanitization at the entrance have become essential requirements.
The Comprehensive Welfare Center for the Disabled can operate a total of 117 projects across 12 fields, but group programs will be avoided for the time being, starting gradually with small group programs. In addition, the daytime care facilities for the disabled, which had been operating on a reduced emergency care basis due to COVID-19, will return to normal operation from the 15th.
Free meals at the facilities will be operated in staggered time slots and distributed in a non-face-to-face manner to prevent infection factors in advance.
