Amorepacific Group Holds 3rd Innovation Day
[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] Amorepacific Group announced that it held the innovative product idea discovery event, 'Amorepacific Innovation Day,' over two days on the 9th and 10th at its headquarters.
Now in its third year, Amorepacific Innovation Day is an occasion where product development partners and Amorepacific Group brands come together to discover ideas and discuss innovative product development. Especially this year, due to the impact of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), the event was conducted through non-face-to-face video presentations (PT) and video conferencing.
Twenty-one domestic and international partner companies, including New&New, Coreana Bio, and Shinsegae Intercos Korea, participated, proposing hundreds of innovative product candidates. All product candidates were made available for direct experience in an integrated exhibition hall, and separate exhibition spaces were prepared for each partner company, where detailed product explanations were given through pre-produced video presentations, followed by real-time video conferences.
A total of 20 brand marketers from Amorepacific Group attended and discussed product commercialization with product development partners in a non-face-to-face manner. The product ideas proposed this time will undergo further discussions and proceed with collaborative product development.
Amorepacific Group Chairman Suh Kyung-bae stated, “In the post-COVID era, we expect many changes in the beauty market and ecosystem.” He added, “We will continue to create business opportunities that generate mutual synergy by communicating more closely with various domestic and international partners in ways suited to the new era.”
