On the 10th, Gwangju-si, Gyeonggi-do, announced that a woman, A (53), who was under self-quarantine in Gonjiam-eup, tested positive for COVID-19.
A was confirmed to have worked as a cook at the daycare center in Giheung-gu, Yongin-si, where COVID-19 cases have recently been reported consecutively.
A reportedly entered self-quarantine after a childcare teacher, B (Suwon patient No. 58) at the daycare center, tested positive for COVID-19 on the 30th of last month.
At the daycare center, a 2-year-old boy (Yongin patient No. 78) tested positive on the 5th, and on the 6th, another 2-year-old boy (Yongin patient No. 81) and his mother (Yongin patient No. 82) were additionally confirmed positive.
Also, a childcare teacher (Gyeonggi Gwangju patient No. 25) who worked with A was confirmed infected on the 6th.
Accordingly, the total number of confirmed cases related to this daycare center has increased to six.
The first confirmed case at the daycare center, B (Suwon patient No. 58), was identified as a member of Suwon Dongbu Church, where a recent cluster infection occurred.
