Dongkuk Steel, Donation Delivered Through 'Good Steps Campaign'
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Dongkuk Steel donated approximately 25 million KRW raised through the Good Steps Campaign to Beautiful Store on the 10th.
The Good Steps Campaign is a program where Dongkuk Steel designated a week starting May 18 as Good Steps Week, during which employees measured their step counts using smart devices, and the company donated funds based on the total steps.
A total of 309 employees, including Vice Chairman Jang Se-wook, participated and accumulated 25,082,235 steps, resulting in an equivalent donation. Beautiful Store plans to use Dongkuk Steel’s donation to provide food kits to about 1,000 children at 50 regional children's centers nationwide who are struggling due to COVID-19.
