Gangnam-gu Recruiting Participants for 'Hope Job Project' to Overcome COVID-19
Working in 10 Areas Including Support for Alley Markets and Small Business Recovery for Residents Aged 18 and Over Until the 19th
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jeong Soon-gyun) is recruiting participants for the ‘Hope Job Project’ until the 19th for residents in need of livelihood support due to unemployment or business closure.
This project is a measure to proactively prepare for the full-scale employment shock caused by the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) and to provide stable public jobs. Participants will work in 10 fields including ▲supporting distribution in traditional markets and shopping districts ▲environmental maintenance in industrial clusters ▲daily quarantine and disaster prevention tasks.
The recruitment target is residents aged 18 or older, excluding those receiving livelihood benefits under the National Basic Livelihood Security Act and unemployment benefits.
Selected candidates will work up to 8 hours a day from July 6 to December 4, and can receive about 1.3 million KRW per month including weekly holiday pay, monthly leave allowance, and snack expenses.
