Gwangju Nam-gu Haengam-dong 'Kkum Sarang Group Home'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Gwangju Bank (President Song Jong-wook) announced on the 5th that it held the selection ceremony for the 59th "Hope Blossoms Study Room" at the "Kkum Sarang Group Home" located in Haengam-dong, Nam-gu.
The "Kkum Sarang Group Home," selected as the "Hope Blossoms Study Room," is a communal living facility that protects local children in need due to economic poverty, parental divorce, domestic violence, and other reasons, helping them grow into healthy members of society.
The "Kkum Sarang Group Home," where five children live, faced many difficulties in their living and learning environment due to a lack of beds and wardrobes, and outdated desks and chairs for studying.
Accordingly, beds, wardrobes, bookshelves, and chairs were replaced to create a comfortable study environment.
At the newly renovated group home, employees of the Gwangju Bank Community Love Volunteer Group shared snacks they had prepared with the children and encouraged them to nurture their dreams.
