Arrest Warrant Requested for Man in His 30s in 'Seoul Station Random Assault' Case
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Dong-hoon] The Seoul Metropolitan Railroad Police under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced on the 3rd that they have applied for an arrest warrant on charges of injury against Lee Mo (32), who assaulted a woman in her 30s, a stranger, at Seoul Station.
Lee struck the face of a woman in her 30s passing by on the first floor of the Airport Railroad Seoul Station at around 1:50 p.m. on the 26th of last month, causing injuries such as a depressed left cheekbone, and then fled the scene.
Since there was no closed-circuit television (CCTV) installed at the crime scene, the railroad police faced difficulties in the investigation. However, after a joint investigation with the police, Lee was arrested at his home in Sangdo-dong, Dongjak-gu, Seoul, at around 7 p.m. on the 2nd.
