On this day, President Jeong Sunho and the executives presented scholarships of 500,000 won each to Kim Taehoon and three other students of the Interacted Volunteer Club in the principal's office.
The Jangsu Rotary Club annually awards scholarships of 500,000 won to 14 local students through events such as the president inauguration and retirement ceremony, official governor visits, and graduation ceremonies.
President Jeong Sunho said, "I hope that students, who faced delayed school attendance and openings due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, will grow into excellent volunteers for their studies as well as for the local community and the country."
