View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kwon Haeyoung] On the 20th, NH Nonghyup Bank held a 'Startup Day' event at the NH Digital Innovation Campus located in Seocho-gu, Seoul, to celebrate the selection of the 3rd cohort of the NH Digital Challenge Plus, Nonghyup Bank's startup incubation program.
The 3rd cohort of NH Digital Challenge Plus selected 35 startups equipped with innovative services based on digital new technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, cloud, and big data. They will participate in the program for six months from this month until October.
Nonghyup Bank provides selected companies with various benefits including ▲support for office space ▲startup management diagnosis ▲industry and technology-related specialized education ▲opportunities for expert consultations in legal, patent, labor and personnel, tax, and investment consulting ▲business linkage within the Nonghyup group ▲opportunities to participate in investment attraction events (Demo Day, Investor Day).
At this event, a business agreement ceremony was also held with SparkLabs, the largest global accelerator in Korea, and SparkPlus, a startup specializing in shared office operations, who will jointly run the NH Digital Challenge Plus 3rd cohort incubation program with Nonghyup Bank. Through this agreement, Nonghyup Bank has established a foundation to provide the highest level of incubation programs in the financial sector to the selected startups.
The event saw NH Nonghyup Bank President Son Byunghwan personally deliver plaques to the selected companies and conduct a talk concert, showing great interest and encouragement for the 3rd cohort startups. The 35 representatives of resident companies also shared suggestions related to business linkage opportunities with Nonghyup affiliates and the incubation program, taking time to communicate about sustainable growth strategies for startups.
