Naju-si Offers Free Food Waste Collection for Small Restaurants
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Naju City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Kang In-gyu) announced on the 18th that it will provide free food waste collection for small local restaurants facing economic difficulties due to COVID-19 until September 20.
The eligible businesses are general and casual restaurants with a store area of less than 200㎡ within the jurisdiction. During the free collection period, they can dispose of food waste in the existing dedicated food waste collection containers after 5 p.m. without attaching a payment receipt.
Through this free collection, about 1,500 small restaurants will receive a fee reduction worth 60 million KRW over four months.
