Seongnam City Holds 'Drive-Thru Direct Sales Event' with 50% Discount on Agricultural Products
[Asia Economy (Seongnam) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Seongnam City in Gyeonggi Province will hold a direct sales event selling agricultural products up to 50% cheaper to support farms affected by COVID-19.
On the 18th, Seongnam City announced that on the 20th at 2 p.m., it will hold a "Drive-Thru Direct Transaction Sales Event" at the outdoor parking lot of City Hall to promote consumption of agricultural products and flowers, which have been depressed due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
Customers can purchase eco-friendly agricultural product bundles (2 types) and flower sets (6 types) grown and produced locally while staying in their cars, at prices up to 50% cheaper than market prices.
The agricultural product bundles for sale include 5 items such as spinach, young radish leaves, young summer radish, mallow, and Swiss chard (10,000 KRW), and 7 items such as tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, chili peppers, green onions, and leafy vegetables for wraps (20,000 KRW).
Additionally, the flower sets include ▲ 2 herb items such as lavender and rosemary (10,000 KRW) ▲ 6 air-purifying plants such as Sansevieria, Victoria, Triant, Banana Croton, Spathiphyllum, and Table Palm (10,000 KRW) ▲ 2 pots of Phalaenopsis orchids (20,000 KRW) ▲ 3 pots of Stucky (10,000 KRW) ▲ 3 succulent plants (5,000 KRW) ▲ 2 pots of Shapinia (5,000 KRW).
These products can be paid for using Seongnam Love Gift Certificates (paper), cash, or general commercial bank cards.
Next to the direct sales event site, there is a drive-thru vehicle disinfection center where free disinfection is available.
