The Gyeongnam Fire Headquarters announced on the 15th that A (49) and B (28), a Uzbek national, who were working at the site that day, were transported to a nearby hospital but ultimately passed away.
They were severely injured after being trapped under part of the factory roof that collapsed due to the explosion. C (63), who was also trapped under the roof, and D (26), a Kazakh national who escaped on his own, were seriously injured and transported to a nearby hospital, suffering second-degree burns on 60% of their bodies.
