On the 11th, Dongshin University announced that it conducted face-to-face classes for 25 experiment and practice subjects across 10 departments, including the Department of Korean Medicine, Digital Contents, Military Science, Computer Science, and Renewable Energy Major.
Going forward, the university plans to gradually expand face-to-face classes for all experiment and practice subjects.
To this end, Dongshin University conducts temperature checks before entering school buildings for all enrolled students and faculty members.
Outdoor temperature measurement stations are operated at 14 locations, including the Central Library, Gymnasium, Lecture Halls, and Student Dormitories.
If the temperature check shows no issues, individuals can enter the building wearing a safety wristband on their wrist. Students and faculty members wearing the safety wristband and masks can freely access other buildings thereafter.
In all school cafeterias, including the student cafeteria and faculty cafeteria, seats are arranged so that people face only one direction while sitting.
Additionally, disinfection and sterilization of department lecture rooms and other areas are planned to be conducted daily.
Dongshin University also distributes masks, spray-type hand sanitizers, and daily life and prevention guidelines to faculty and students to ensure thorough individual COVID-19 prevention.
If students run out of hand sanitizer, they can visit the Student Council to refill and use it again.
If students or faculty members show fever symptoms, the temperature measurement station immediately contacts the university’s Health Promotion Center, then the individual moves to the medical waiting room and is transferred to local health centers or other facilities.
