Hyundai Engineering to Launch Sales of 'Hillstate Gwangsan' in Gwangju This Month
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Hyundai Engineering announced on the 11th that it plans to sell "Hillstate Gwangsan" this month in 420-10 Sochon-dong, Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju.
Hillstate Gwangsan consists of 12 buildings with 2 basement floors and 10 to 14 above-ground floors, totaling 428 households including 425 units of 84㎡ and 3 units of 116㎡. It is composed of 218 units of 84㎡A, 207 units of 84㎡B, 2 units of 116㎡A, and 1 unit of 116㎡B.
Since residential land development is planned around the complex, it is expected to enjoy the effect of improving the residential environment. Seonun 2 District is planned to be developed on a total site of about 398,000㎡ with about 3,000 households including apartments and detached houses, as well as parks, schools, roads, government offices, and commercial facilities, aiming for completion in 2024.
About 1 km away, an investment leading district development project is also planned. This project, which develops about 595,000㎡ near Gwangju Songjeong Station into a convergence complex combining industry, business, residence, and commerce, will invest about 590 billion KRW of private capital and aims for completion in 2025.

A sales official explained, "Hillstate Gwangsan is located on the new central axis of Gwangsan-gu, which is emerging as a transportation hub in Gwangju, and the surrounding living infrastructure is well equipped. As it is developed as a new apartment under the Hillstate brand, it is expected to have high future value and attract much interest from demanders."
