[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Asan Nanum Foundation (Chairman Han Jeong-hwa) announced on the 11th that it will operate the 'Entrepreneurship Let's Go' program from May to November. Entrepreneurship Let's Go is a program first launched by Asan Nanum Foundation in 2018 to raise awareness of entrepreneurship and expand the base of entrepreneurship education. Its purpose is to allow parents, teachers, and education officials interested in entrepreneurship education to experience various entrepreneurship education contents.
This year's program will be held a total of 14 times over 7 months from May to November. All education sessions are conducted by entrepreneurship education experts carefully selected by Asan Nanum Foundation, and the courses are designed to allow participants to learn entrepreneurship education content tailored to their target audience. Participants in the program can learn various methodologies for entrepreneurship education and apply them in educational settings.
In particular, this year, special lectures will be held outside Seoul to expand opportunities for entrepreneurship education. In addition, online lectures will be provided through the Asan Entrepreneurship School website to overcome the limitations of offline education and help parents and teachers nationwide easily access entrepreneurship education.
The first session will be held on the 28th at Asan Nanum Foundation in Jung-gu, Seoul, conducted by Kim Woo-jin, Startup Ecosystem Manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS) Korea. The topic is 'Starting a Business with My Child.' Those who wish to participate can apply on a first-come, first-served basis through the Asan Entrepreneurship School website.
Kim Ah-rang, head of the Entrepreneurship Education Team at Asan Nanum Foundation, said, "In the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, entrepreneurship is an indispensable item and an essential competency for future generations," adding, "Through the Entrepreneurship Let's Go program, we hope that many parents and teachers nationwide will understand entrepreneurship and help cultivate children's entrepreneurial spirit to grow them into talents who can lead change."
