Financial Supervisory Service closes some areas due to COVID-19 cases among employees' families
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyo-jin] The Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) has closed some workspaces due to a confirmed case of COVID-19 in an employee's family.
On the 10th, the FSS stated, "A family member of an employee working on the 6th floor of the FSS building (Yeouido, Seoul) has been confirmed positive for COVID-19, leading to the closure of the 6th floor, the shared spaces including the 20th floor cafeteria, basement level 1, and the 9th floor."
The FSS employee whose family member tested positive underwent testing on the same day and is awaiting the results, which are expected to be released on the morning of the 11th.
The FSS plans to determine additional measures and their extent based on the employee's test results.
